CELTIC, Central Europe. Uncertain tribe. Mid to late 1st century BC. Quinarius (Silver, 13 mm, 1.70 g, 1 h), 'Tanzendes Männlein' type. Male figure dancing to right, his head turned back to left, holding a torque in his right hand and a snake in his left, and with a second torque hanging from his waist. Rev. Horse standing right, head turned back to left; all within zigzag border. Flesche 408. LT 9396. Schulze-Forster type I A1. SLM 1118-1120. Beautifully toned. Slightly rough, otherwise, good very fine.
